📚 Parents, let’s get ready for a fun-filled week of reading!
We’re celebrating Read Across America with a full week of dress‑up spirit days.
Students are encouraged to participate and show their love for books in creative, exciting ways!
Reading opens the door to imagination, builds vocabulary, strengthens academic skills, and inspires a lifelong love of learning. Let’s make this a week to remember as we come together to celebrate the joy of reading! ❤️

Battle of the Books Highlights!
Our students had an amazing time at the Battle of the Books competition! They enjoyed a special meet-and-greet with author Xavier Garza, fun Makerspace activities, and wrapped up the day with a Raising Cane’s lunch 🍗📖
We are proud to share that our upper grades team earned 3rd place—what an accomplishment! Congratulations to Sophia Alegria, Bryanna Salinas, Bianka Tovar, and Natalie Rocha for their hard work, teamwork, and love of reading.
Way to represent and make us proud! 💙👏

Shout out to 5th Graders Madison Sorcia and Erika Anzures for the outstanding performance at the District Spelling Bee Competition! Way to go representing Garza!
