Upper grade students from Garza Elementary proudly represented their campus at the Battle of the Books competition, showcasing strong reading comprehension, teamwork, and academic dedication. During the event, students participated in a special meet-and-greet with author Xavier Garza, engaged in hands-on Makerspace activities, and enjoyed a celebratory lunch from Raising Cane’s.
The team earned an impressive 3rd place finish. Congratulations to Sophia Alegria, Bryanna Salinas, Bianka Tovar, and Natalie Rocha for their outstanding performance and commitment to literacy.
